It’s not about PERFECT. It’s about EFFORT

I have learnt that perfectionism gets you no where fast. In fact, it often stops us from finishing what we have started (PhDs!) or may even prevent us from starting something in the first place (weight loss!). Perfectionism makes mountains out of molehills and prevents us from just getting in and getting on with living life to the max!

Instead of perfectionism, I choose EFFORT.

Instead of perfectionism, I choose to TURN UP & SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Instead of perfectionism, I choose HAPPINESS  & SUCCESS.

Instead of perfectionism, I choose to JFDI.

What do YOU choose instead of perfectionsim?

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with that one. Every day I wake up with perfection in mind (in everything I do). If I don’t achieve “it” then I end out at the end of the day depressed and seeking solace in food.

Thank you for this – as I am a perfectionist!!! I’m trying day by day to do things less perfect – and just go with the flow and relax and put less pressure on myself. So thank you!!!!!! Love it!

So on the money. What is perfection anyway? Guarantee you the female we’re all supposed to aspire to look like (whoever that may be) has hang ups like everybody else. Be the best you can be. That beats perfection. x

perfectly said. we get so caught up in comparing ourselves against others that we miss the simple fact that we’re actually putting in the effort. and thats what will make all the difference in the end! love it!
