2012 Calorie Tracker Spreadsheet – Key To Weight Loss Success!

Thank you to an awesome 12WBTer, Tina K (aka Tink on the forums) who worked a heap of magic on the previous version of the MS Excel spreadsheet I had shared. Tina emailed it to me at Christmas – a lovely Christmas present!  Just perfect timing as I start tracking my calories more closely again to prepare for Round 1 12WBT and hitting some goals.

Some awesome new features added by Tina include option to track your water intake, a Calorie Converter (insert the value in kJ and it converts to calories);  a Calorie Calculator (put the calories of an item in per 100g and add the serving size to calculate the exact number of calories in the amount you consume); more automation and plenty of other great features! I am already using it!!

Download this calorie tracker to help you keep track of the calories in and out during Michelle Bridges’ 12 Week Body Transformation Round 1 2011 (and beyond!).  This is an excel spreadsheet that is set up ready for you to plug in your stats and menu and training – track your calories in & calories out.  After all, that is the bottom line when it comes to losing weight.

Here is a link to the new 2012 Calorie Tracker

Read this blog entry from last year to learn more about tracking calories and why it helps. In a nutshell, evidence shows that those who track their calories in (what you eat) and calories out (what you burn through your basal metabolic rate plus through exercise) will lose more weight, they will lose it faster and they will keep it off longer.

Enormous shout out to Tina K – thank you!! Visit Tina’s blog: Currently Clueless.

** Important info **  Tink has gone to a lot of effort to create an “INSTRUCTIONS” sheet at the start of the file. It is the very first tab. Please click on this to read through and follow these instructions to personalise your spreadsheet!

Feel free to share this. Happy tracking!

xx Ange

PS: This is a Microsoft Excel file. You will need to have software installed to open the file. Because it is an .xls file some virus scanners might not like to download or open it – I will leave to that you to figure out!
